Whether you are an artist, an activist, a citizens\u2019 initiative, or a civil society organisation who wants to integrate a rights-based approach to your work, foster collaboration between artists and rights-based activists or CSOs, organise advocacy activities, etc., this information session is for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During this information session, the Civic Space team will explain the modalities to request support from the Grow Civic Support Program and answer participants' questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A presentation and discussion will follow about art and the rights-based approach. The discussions will help to explore the links between artistic practice and the rights-based approach and conclude with recommendations to strengthen these links in the Cyprus context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grow Civic supports rights-based and public-benefit work by activists, citizens\u2019 initiatives, platforms, and civil society organisations in Cyprus. Since 2016, Grow Civic has supported a total of 92 different actions in different fields such as environment, health, art, education, peace and reconciliation, culture, sports and many more. Total of 265,000 Euros of in-kind support was given to these actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Grow Civic in-kind support program is implemented by Civic Space, which is funded by the European Union under the Aid Program for the Turkish Cypriot community. Civic Space contributes to strengthening the role of civil society in the Turkish Cypriot community and promoting multicommunal dialogue and cooperation<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Civic Space team provides, on-demand, tailor-made help desk support to CSOs and activists in developing their action designs, identifying potential partners, or integrating the rights-based approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
