In the workshop, summary information will be presented on the monitoring method and results used in the reports on Civil Society Perception in Turkey and Civil Society Organizations in Turkey published by STGM. In the second stage, the problems in the field of freedom of association in Cyprus and Turkey will be discussed with the contributions of the participants. In particular, similarities and differences will be discussed. In the third part, summary information about the monitoring reports prepared in Turkey in the last 25 years will be given and the methods and developments in the monitoring processes will be conveyed. In the last part of the workshop, answers will be sought to the questions of why we should monitor the field of civil society or what monitoring reports do. The handicaps of monitoring reports as an advocacy tool will also be discussed.
