Cemil joined the Civic Space team in May 2023 as a Communication and Event Officer. He is working on assisting with communication, event management, and other Project components such as the Grow Civic Programme. He worked as an Administration Officer at the Home for Cooperation before joining Civic Space. He has also actively taken part in the logistics and event organisation of other EU projects in Cyprus. Since childhood, he has participated in many intercommunal events and organizations such as Cyprus Friendship Program and Doves Olympic Movement. Cemil holds a BMus in Popular Music Performance and Production from the University of West London. Cemil is a sound engineer and a musician with experience in live and studio sound engineering and live performances.
