Nihal Soganci continues her PhD in Social Anthropology at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. Her research focuses on the performativity of the border, affect and creative tactics of everyday in Northern Cyprus post 2003. She seeks avenues of communication between anthropology and the arts on which she runs workshops and publishes. She is actively involved in different peacebuilding projects and festivals and joined the Civic Space Team in August 2023. She holds an MSc in International Public Policy from UCL and BA in Languages from University of Surrey.
