Throughout its journey, the program received 279 requests, leading to the successful implementation of 116 actions, supported by an approximate total budget of 320,000 EUR.

To ensure comprehensive assistance, the Civic Space team stands ready to provide on-demand help desk support at all stages of the Grow Civic Programme, catering to beneficiaries seeking guidance. Over the course of Grow Civic's implementation, 3596 help desk requests have diligently been responded, spanning both pre-request and implementation stages.

As a very practical capacity building tool, Grow Civic aims to enhance the capacities of civil society, addressing the needs of grassroots and local CSOs, as well as activists who may not have access to macro-level EU or other donor grants.

The objectives of the Grow Civic Program are diverse, including the creation of new rights-based initiatives/organizations, the enhancement of existing CSO capacities, the formation of thematic coalitions, and the protection and promotion of democracy, fundamental human rights, EU values, and principles. The program also aims to increase outreach, visibility, and multiplier effects, foster dialogue and collaboration, and strengthen organizational capacities for enhanced and sustainable rights-based action.

The upcoming Grow Civic phase is scheduled to launch on 25 December 2023 and will remain accessible until 31 July 2025.
